Nearly one week ago, DataCore released the new PSP2 for SSY-V 9.
PSP2 addresses 6 critical bugs (most of them caused system crashes) and fixes 17 other problems.
Beside the bugfixes, PSP2 adds the following new features:
- Support for Windows Server 2012 as the DataCore OS
- Performance recording (yeah! we've waited for this for a long, long time)
- Multi-Node support (up to 8 nodes per server group)
- Custom storage profiles
- CDP retention time increse to 14 days
Customers on valid support and subscription contract are allowed to update to PSP2 at no cost.
I've installed PSP2 in our test lab and until now, no problems seens.
Next task will be to upgrade the DataCore OS from Server 2008R2 to Server 2012 and see how it works.
